Does WECA-IEC offer State Certification Exam preparation classes?
Yes. WECA-IEC offers exam preparation classes for electricians planning to take the exam, all taught by qualified
instructors who have taken and passed the exam. There are a variety of formats to choose from, ranging from a 2-day
"brush-up" course to an in-depth 10-week course. View current course offerings.
What other classes does WECA-IEC offer for Journeymen?
WECA-IEC offers training for every career level in the electrical industry, including foreman training,

Does WECA-IEC offer an online referral service for journeymen electricians?

Does WECA-IEC offer an electrician trainee program?
Yes, WECA-IEC offers a state-approved Electrician Trainee Program. As of January 1, 2006, any electrician who has not
taken and passed the state certification exam must be registered with the state as an electrician trainee and enrolled in
a state-approved electrician trainee program, or indentured in a state-approved apprenticeship program.

Yes, WECA-IEC offers a state-approved electrician trainee program.

How do I enroll as an electrician trainee?
To enroll in the WECA-IEC Electrician Trainee Program,
download an enrollment form.
Once you have completed and submitted your enrollment form to WECA-IEC, we will send you an enrollment confirmation.
Once you receive your enrollment confirmation, submit it to the state along with a completed state electrician trainee
registration form.
