WECA-IEC offers medical, dental, disability and life insurance benefits to commercial apprentices indentured in a WECA-IEC apprenticeship program, and their families. Available provider options vary based on where the apprentice lives.

For those living in Northern California, a region defined as between Fresno and the Oregon border, WECA-IEC offers Health Net medical coverage. Vision coverage is included with your medical coverage.

For those living in Southern California, a region defined as between Bakersfield and the Mexico border, WECA-IEC offers a choice of Health Net or Kaiser Permanente Southern California medical coverage. Vision coverage is included with your medical coverage.

If you would like to enroll in Kaiser Permanente Southern California, you will receive an enrollment form as part of your new student orientation packet. If you did not receive a form, call (877) 444-9322, ext. 117.

If you would like to add a dependent to your coverage who is 19 years of age or older, he or she must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited institution.
